Everything you need for an article or report about Letter Explained. You may use texts and images freely for coverage.
In short
Many people are afraid of their post. Letters from public authorities, the job centre or health insurance are hard to understand, especially when German is not your first language. Letter Explained helps: you take a photo of the letter or a screenshot of an email or text message, and the app explains in plain words what it says, what to do and by when. In one of 34 languages if you like, including Turkish, Arabic, Ukrainian and Russian.
The app also warns about scams, reminds you of deadlines, drafts replies and reads the explanation aloud. It needs no account and has no ads and no tracking. Letter Explained is no substitute for legal advice; it helps people understand.
